Working alone she researches, photographs, films, directs and produces her own original, unique style of Heritage Films under the title‘Northern Landscapes Heritage Archive’. Northern Landscapes Heritage Archive is designed to help people to learn about their own heritage on film and also the heritage of earlier generations, conserving on film the diverse heritage of North Yorkshire and the North-East for present and future generations to experience and enjoy. Northern Landscapes Heritage Archive films include an archive of modern day events, memories and experiences, histories of people and communities, archaeology and architecture and incorporates changes in rural, industrial, coastal and urban landscapes, folklore, tradition and customs and crafts relating to the local area and the region. Through the media of film Northern Landscapes Heritage Archive is able to reach many varied audiences, the short-films and documentaries are intended to raise the awareness of the general public to the vital need to preserve the rich Tradition and Heritage of the region.
